Merry Christmas – Joy to the World!

This morning, I felt led to send out a word of encouragement

We all know that this has been a very tough year. Many of us are spending Christmas away from our loved ones. Many of us are tired and frustrated with 2020 and just want it to be over already.

However, I hear a sound of joy in the heavenlies, in the darkest hour God is doing His best work.

The shortest and darkest day of the year is usually between 20-23 December, after that the days get longer and lighter.

The 25th of December 2020, therefore carries great prophetic significance.

Joy to the World, Christ is here!

Christ in us is the hope of Glory!

That Glory is being birthed as we speak and will be made manifest and unfold even as the year ends and into 2021 and beyond.

This pandemic is a catalyst or maybe a better word is incubator. So hang in there. Don’t try and leave or break the incubator before the appointed time.

Rejoice and be glad we have not been forgotten. All the tears, prayers, and groans have not fallen on deaf ears.

Immanuel, God is with us!!!

Blessed be His Name!

I will close with the song of Mary which is the song of my heart this Christmas 2020

Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones. He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away with empty hands. He has helped his servant Israel and remembered to be merciful. For he made this promise to our ancestors, to Abraham and his children forever.””

Luke 1:46-55 NLT

Have a Joy Filled Christmas Day and God bless you!
